Hello, happy December. I have had a year and a half old rode island red sick for a while now. She is sneezing and gasping like crazy. She has been doing this since early August. We gave her taylon 200 the week that she was first sick and it helped a little. We also gave her some electolights in her water. She mainly starts to gasp when she is stressed out. I thought that this would go away over time, but it has not. I am worried with winter comming and with her molting, she won’t be able to breath. What should I do? Thank you so much!

If the Tylan (administered properly and for the correct duration) didn't cure it, the problem is likely viral. But possibly fungal or parasitic.
Any avian vets with poultry experience in your area?

Is there anyway to cure a viral or fungal disease?

Remove the source of the fungus or for a virus give supportive care till they overcome the virus themselves.
Several viral AND bacterial infections have no known cure.
