I hear ya on that one. We have a few friends that are willing to take 'extra' birds off our hands, no questions asked. They take them live and slaughter them, or have them slaughtered. I do have a hard time knowingly committing a chicken to that fate, though.

These roosters are all my pets now so I will be keeping them. Amazingly they are very quiet. My two bantam roosters crow a lot more than all of these combined. So they are good boys and I love them.
