Any idea on breed and sex?

My neighbor recently asked me to take on two of her chicks and of course I couldn't refuse. I love raising the chickens I have. We had no issues introducing them to our flock, but I have not idea of the breed or sex of one them. Any help would be great!!!!

I am guessing that it is a rooster, but not sure really.

He looks like a cockerel to me based on the size of his comb and waddles. How old is he/she? You really got a beautiful chicken from your friend! He looks happy!
