any idea on breed of this little guy

had a little rooster show up and take residence in the trees next to my neighbors shop. they are wanting to know what he is....he has become like a mascot to them.

i'm no where familiar with the little bantams like this....

i'm guessing he is an old english game bantam.... any clue on what would call the technical color of him as there are a ton of varieties.

if the bird is really young it could be a black breasted red, they are supposed to have more color on them after they are completely mature.

looks like the mate to a hen I was gave, which turned out to be a brown black old english game

Cool looking little bird Brad. If you you end up bringing him home keep him clear of your flock for at least 2 weeks before you put them all together. Also if he is a game he and your other boys won't get along so you will have to keep him in a pen by him self or with just girls.
