Any idea what breed and color these chicks are?

A local farmer gave me 12 eggs to hatch but they had no idea what breed their chickens are. The eggs were small and light brown/cream color. I think they might be Cochin but I'm not sure and the silver/white color is throwing me off. Any ideas what breed they might be and what color?

They are Silver Silkie chicks. They look about the same as they get older, just google some pics

Actually, now that i look at the feet being more yellow than black like the Silkies, it could be a Silver Cochin.

OKAY. I am changing my mind again. They most likely are a breed of Cochin. I found this great website with lots of different types of Cohins. I think yours is a Blue Cochin. This is the website,

They look like silkies. How many toes do they have?

Thanks for the replies! I was thinking Blue Cochin also but the one chick is so light, almost silver, so that threw me off. They all have 4 toes and yellow feet

how old are they? If they are only a day old then that silvery stuff might just be temporary. They will get even fluffier and the silver might fade. But, I am no Cochin or Silkie expert. I was thinking Silkie too at first but don't Silkies have dark feet?

They are just a couple days old. I don't know much about silkies either but I think they have dark legs

I would guess that they were Blue Cochins.
