Any Idea What Breed This Is?

Any idea what breed this chick is? She came in to the shelter where I work. I say she but I'm not sure she is a she? Any guesses on sex too?

No idea on the breed, sorry. Do you know how old it is? It looks like it could be a pullet.

Sorry don't know the age. It came into our shelter about 3 weeks ago very dirty and skinny. It's looking healthier since I put it on medicated chick feed. It was one ugly chick.

Is it missing feathers or are those feathers white? If it's missing feathers it could be a RSL (Red Sex- Link).

Yippee! I'm hoping that is what she is.

Nope not missing feathers they are white with some red feathers dotted throughout. Mostly on the front end of her.

It could be a RSL though it seems to have too much white forward and I am by no means a breed expert. I hope it is what you want. Enjoy it no matter what it is as the eggs will be good. Good luck and happy chickens to you. Jim
