Any idea what could have happened?

I know there’s a million reasons why chicks could die, but I’m hoping to see if this was a ‘just because’ or maybe something I should watch for. We got 4 pullets from a local farm a week ago, they were between 1-2 weeks. This is my 3rd time with chicks and I’ve never lost one before. Our brooder is about 2’ by 3’ with a red light over half and plenty of space for them to get away from the heat if needed. I use flake bedding, on Purina flock raiser (we were hoping our lone hen would go broody for them) and I alternate regular water and electrolyte water. On Wednesday one of our chicks was being very lethargic. I helped her drink water a couple times during the day and watched her eat on her own. By the next morning she was thriving with the rest of them. Last night I noticed another seemed more lethargic than usual, but not anything like the original. She was eating, drinking and running, just not as much as the rest. I made sure she had water and watched her eat, but this morning I came out and she had passed in the night. Her poops we’re small and darker brown, sometimes with white. They were regular chick consistency (soft). They’re in our garage where we raised chicks last year so no cookware issues. Truly lost for what could have happened. Thank you.

Some things that can cause chicks deaths are being too cold, being too warm, and not getting food, especially in shipped chicks, which leads to low blood sugars.

Those that make it past the first few days and die can be from things like coccidiosis, and internal birth defects. If a chick has something wrong with it's liver or kidneys it will take a while for it to cause enough problems that they passes away.

Occasionally I lose a chick. It happens unfortunately. I only worry if there are multiple deaths.

Thank you. These were hatched by the local farm and i drove them straight home. I had them for a week before I started to have any issues. They have plenty of room to be under the light or out of it for temperature control and I had electrolytes for them, especially when I noticed something was off. I did notice that while the others were growing their tail feathers hers just weren’t growing the same rate so maybe it was developmental. I wanted to get the opinion if it sounds like a one off or a problem. Thank you!
