Any idea what i might have here???

Hi....i had a chicken hatch some chicks....any ideas what i might have....i know they are mixed breeds and i am sure the all black one is a roo....but it is looking like the others may be roos as well!....they are 8 weeks...i also have 2 bantam chicks in there that may be roos ...they are 11 weeks...thanks for you help!

I believe that the last bird pictured is a pullet. The others appear to be cockerels.

The last one with the partial crest is a pullet. The rest are male.

thanks...not really the news i was hoping for.....the brown one and the barred rock mix didnt have as big a comb as the all black one...i was hoping they were girls... : (

The second one looks like it might be a pure Salmon Faverolle cockerel.

Nope. Not even a chance. Huge legs; big, red comb early on; and the solid black feathers on the chest are all indications of a cockerel.

well....i guess its good to know now so i can start clearing out the roos and leaving room for the girls!...only problem is i dont have any girls to make room for!!!...haaaa.....thanks for your help!

The grey one with the cute up-do is a pullet. The rest are definitely all cockerels. Sorry.

thats good to know...i thought that one had a pointy tail and thought that was a roo too!....
