I have chicks that are 2 weeks old now. Lost one about a week ago, now I have another that is acting strange. It is fluffing its feathers and not moving around much. Poop is fine, craw is empty, doesn't want to eat or drink. No sign of panting or respiratory problems. The the chick that died was panting. I did give them some smashed peas and some finely chopped up spinach, about 2 tablespoons for 16 chicks, now I am wondering if that is the problem. They are clean, have heat, water with AVC, chick starter and chick grit.
