Thank you!!Probably some kind of respiratory illness. Many of the respiratory illness chickens get there really isn't a true cure for (they become carriers for life, and it can crop back up with stress). Antibiotics can sometimes help with secondary symptoms.
Thank you!!Wound? Draining through the sinuses? I would use a wet, warm tissue to clean and see if it is a wound.
Thank you!!It may be a swollen eye from a sinus infection, possibly caused by MG, coryza, or E.coli. It appears that she was also pecked or injured. Mosquitoes causing fowl, pox might be another possibility for the scab and swollen eye, but the sneezing sounds more like a respiratory infection. Is she the only one showing sneezing so far? She won’t be able to see her food and water, so you will need to help her get some, and mixing some feed with water and a little cooked egg would be good.
Clean the eye and put some antibiotic ointment inside the eye twice a day. If you can get some Tylan 50, 200, antibiotic injectable at the feed store with some syringes and needles, you can give this orally by removing the needle from the syringe. You also could get Tylan (tylosin) powder to put in the water here:
https://www.jedds.com/shop/tylan-soluble-100-g/
That could treat any other birds who get sick as well.
Would putting save-a-chick probiotic in their water help also?It may be a swollen eye from a sinus infection, possibly caused by MG, coryza, or E.coli. It appears that she was also pecked or injured.
