Any ideas, designs..etc for 100 chickens coop please?

I would look into something like a cold frame or hoop house http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/category/cold-frames

A 16 x 36 of this model would give you more than enough room for 100 chickens (5.75 square feet each) and costs $589. You might even be able to get away with a 16 x 24. It would give you 384 square feet and costs $475. If you buy the steel end walls, that's about another $400 for two walls. I don't know a cheaper way to frame such a large structure (under $1000). Then, you could cover it with wire, put a shade tarp over part of it, and build roosts and nesting boxes.

thank you for your reply
If you want an open air coop then see this:

a lot of these search image results are open air.

If you want to go with a pole barn then keep in mind it will need to be mucked out periodically. You might want to make it tractor accessible.

If you prefer to go with several smaller sheds - that is doable but then triples the waterer/feeder chores (or seems to LOL).

You will want at least 4 square foot per chicken inside the coop and at least 10 square feet per chicken outside the coop in a run (or free range them). If you are only going to have the pens (open air) and no run then I'd make for at least 14 square feet per chicken. They need the space to prevent pecking/cannibalism. The bigger the better!!!

Only 1/2 inch hardware cloth will keep out weasels and rats, which eat chickens. Don't depend on chicken wire or welded wire fencing for nighttime security when they are asleep (welded wire fencing is great for daytime- it is what I use).
