Hello all!

Got dragged into the class room today to help with the teacher who just got an order of "assorted chicks" and had NO idea how to care for the little ones.. I'm trying to decide which types they have here (as to do a presentation later on for the kids to see what they will grow into)

My guess is any of the following; Aracauna, black jersey giant, leghorns, buff orpington, bared plymoth, cochin.. am I close?

thanks a lot guys!

haha oops, i forgot to add the pictures - pictures added!

If there's a green egger it's an Easter Egger, not araucana by any means.

What hatchery? Was it a layer assortment, rare breeds assortment... ?

Two black chicks could be australorps. Stripey could be EE but I don't see any muffs, so it could be a speckled sussex (there are several chicks that start out like that). Lighter ones could be leghorns or they could be meat birds - they'll grow really fast if they're meaties. If they start getting non-white feathers they could be male sex-links also (if she didn't get/order pullets).
