Any ideas on breed and gender of my mystery chicks. *pic heavy*

Ooo, thank you for the closer shots, that clarifies things! Yes I agree with you dragonmorgan, these are most likely hatchery quality Red Laced Cornish birds. That is why the lacing is so hard to distinguish. Wow those were stumpers for a moment there.

lol I know. I was wonderin if theyd stay mysteries until they were grown. Are red laced cornishs egg layers or just meat bird? They are growin the same as all my other chicks and arent big like other meat birds. I have nothing against puttin them in the freezer tho if thats all they will be good for.

I have red laced cornish and they make fantastic chickens, I am not sure about hatchery birds but my cornish lay surprisingly well.. Cute chick..

chick # 2 looks like a Amber Link (amber sexed link) because of her markings

They do look close except these are gettin more brown feathers than amber links and i think amber links have single combs
