Any ideas on how to move 1000lb chicken coop

If we end up getting it moved and safely I will share our method which is still not established

We had to move ours. We were able to carefully pick up an end with an appliance dolly. Then, we put some round cedar fence posts under it and slowly rolled it to its new location. You'll have to stop fairly frequently to move your rollers from the back to the front. It worked though! We managed to move a heavy 8x5 coop with only 2 of us.

Update: we managed to move the coop with a couple great friends: basically we place 2 pallets under with a tow strap placed and used a truck. It worked much better than we could have thought. Thanks for all the great suggestions

thats great news. something funny, i was answering your post then today i wanted to put a piece of plywood on the roof of my run because its so hot and i couldnt move it.

talk is cheap. lol

the run has 2x4s every 4ft. and i used chicken wire to keep critters out on top . i just built this starting in the winter freezing . i have successfully ripped the wire in 3 places trying to get it up there just for some shade. i attached a tarp to the edge of it so i could provide a bit more. the plywood is warped and i put it up there to where the weight would straighten it so the edges are digging into the wire. i cant finish putting it up and i cant get it back down and i cant reach the wire to repair it ! would of rather helped move your coop.

It kind of sounds like you could use an assistant who runs about 6 foot tall or so.
