Any ideas on saving money on coops?

Does anyone know of any good, easy, ways to save money on coops. Like supplies to build with ect...

Well, there are always pallets... and any scrap wood that you can lay your hands on...

Find some pallets or find some other wood, ask around at building sights or hardware stores for slightly misshapen or worn wood for free. You will be surprised what you can find by just asking around for it.

We insulated part of our coop by stuffing straw in between old feed bags and the wall. You can use wood shavings for the bedding- don't use cedar though, because it's harmful to chickens.
