EE aren't SOP birds. Kiddos might be able to show them in something like 4-H showmanship, but they're not showable in APA shows.

Happy New Years All !! Looking for some more input on these two Easter Eggers, does everyone think they are hens? They are just over 9 months and I've yet to see an egg. Not for sure how long it takes but I've read a few articles that they take a while. Any input is appreciated, Thanks,

These birds are definitely hens. The bird on the left looks like she should be laying, but with the straight comb she could be laying cream or brown eggs, not blue or green.

Yep, all pullets. They look like they should be laying...do you free range? Have you gone on an egg hunt?

The first two started laying in August but I have yet to see anything from the third. My EE's also have yet to produce any eggs. In due time, I'll just have to be patient. I let them out daily from the run but they are kept in a secondary open run with no eggs in the area.
