Looking at her now, she sorta looks like a white leghorn. I have some light brown ones and mine are really friendly. I hope you either have leghorn or a white rock. Both a great birds.

Oh I'm so hoping for White Rock! I have another baby white pullet who I got at the same time I got the ones I'm asking about and she is rather small so I'm thinking she is a leghorn.. So far the earlobes on the girl(s) are pink, or just skin colored. I will keep you posted on the updates on them as they get older! I've been watching this site for a long time and I know that these babies can surprise us all! So I am really hoping that mine do and just turn out to be ANY kind of laying hens since I love them so and want to keep them. Thank you so much for your help!!A white pullet from Tractor Supply could be a few things, actually. My guesses are either White Rock, Leghorn, or Amber Link. I had a White Rock as a kid, and I have a leghorn and an Amber Link right now. My Leghorn (even now as a full grown hen) is much smaller than my other birds (most of the Mediterranean-derived birds are smaller, like leghorns, hamburgs, etc.) and her legs are very thin. My Amber Link basically looks like a White Rock. They can have reddish colorings on them when they are older, or in cases like mine, be almost pure white. My Amber Link doesn't have red, but she is slightly cream colored.
Watch her earlobe (the wrinkly looking skin behind the eye what kind of looks like a knuckle). If it's white, it's a Leghorn, who lays white eggs. If it's the same color as her comb, which will all eventually be red, she's (my guess here) either a White Rock or an Amber Link, who both lay brown eggs (my Amber Link lays almost perfectly circular dark brown eggs. Too weird).
For what it's worth, I know I've seen Leghorns and Amber Links at my Tractor Supply. There's other white chicks in the "assorted pullets" bin, so who knows what those are.
Good luck.
