Any ideas on what this one is?

Here is a chicken that we adopted. I can only guess on age from what I was told, but think she/he is about 16-18 weeks. And from what I have researched think it may be a red and brown modern bantam. Ideas?

Ill see if i can, but shes one paranoid little bird! I think she thinks the camera is a gun or something but ill figure something out! lol

Hope these help, any closer and should would've flown away...literally. Ive seen her fly long distances before! And shes about 6 months old, shes never layed an egg that i know of so shes still really young.

She does look like a game bird, the legs just dont look long enough for the modern game bird.

if shes 6 months, does that mean she still needs to grow her legs? or is she going to be a short legged game bird forever lol. i dont mind, i keep them as pets but just wondering. thanks

her legs would have looked long from the start. Look up games birds and look through the photos online,. the way she holds her tail it looks like a serama(SP?

I guess that makes sense. I got her as an egg from someone who fights chickens(im in central america, its happens alot) he said it was a "gift"? lol but i took it anyways. Atleast she wont be in a bad enviroment here! Btw, isnt a serama a bantam breed? Though they are some good looking chicken breeds. They remind me of my rooster, but my rooster doesnt pose like they do lol
