To start things off....this is my first post. I've been here for a while just reading and learning. Thanks to all for the great info.

I got a few chicks a while ago at murdoch's (kinda like TSC) one of the chicks i got was from the bin that said "assorted blue egg layers" i know that most EE's have greenish/olive colored legs. This chick is about 6 weeks old now and is turning a pretty silvery gray color, with very few light brown splashes.

The biggest thing that makes me unsure of the breed is the leg color. they are not even close to greenish/olive. the are the same color (yellowish) as my other two Silver Laced Wynadottes, and the Welsummer chick i got.

any ideas on what this chick might be?
Thanks all!!

K well here are the pictures!

It could be a cross, I would have to see it to be sure. If it has a comb other than pea, then it is either an EE cross or not a blue\\green egg layer.

New pictures.....any ideas?

thanks to all.

EE's can have any color legs, muff and beards, no muffs no beards be any color, More then likely that one will lay a green egg maybe brown. I love EE's they are so fun.
