Does anyone have any idea what this little girl might be?





She was bought at Big R, out of the pullet bin, but they didn't know what she was.

My first guess was a Black Australorp, but she looks blue. Are her legs feathered? It is hard to tell from the pic. I wasn't aware of any hatcheries having blue Lorps, but I could be wrong.

What kind of comb does it have? Looks like the coloring of my columbian wyandotte chicks.

If you click on the picture, it will bring it up bigger. She doesn't have feathered legs, they are yellow with black down the front. As for the comb, she is only a week old, and I can't tell what kind it is. I don't know if she is blue, to me she looks gray, with yellow on her chest and down to her bottom, and white on her wing tips. I have been looking everywhere I can trying to find a picture of what she is, I haven't found anything. I will go out later and get more pictures. Thanks everyone.

Blue Jersey Giant? Really? I've never seen one of those before. I did go out and look at her again, she did have some yellow on her legs, but over the past couple of days, they are almost all black.

I thought andalusian too, but mine never had any yellow on their legs. JGs come in blue, black & splash as well.

JG come in black unless you get them from a breeder, I've not seen any hatcheries that had blue or splash JG.
