Any insights on what color these little ones are? I’ll add pics of parents as well.

Are we sure those are only two parents? They look lemon pyle which is splash based so should only have splash offspring not black like the first

Definitely the parents. Thee parents are in an outdoor fully enclosed pen. Even the top is covered. The first two sets of eggs that hatched also had a few odd colorings. I’m so confused as to how this is happening. I’m not the best with color genetics but this is off to me.

I’ve went back through photos since I first got the rooster. I see some black leakage in a couple of areas. I zoomed and cropped. Could this be what’s causing color variations? There’s just a few scattered feathers that are black.
