Nope, I am in Illinois. I am EAST of St. Louis going into Illinois on I-70. I am between Madison County and Fayette County. Not far from Keyesport, which is the start of Carlyle Lake . . .lovely area.

Alright I tried again. This time it worked. lol

It's 2 hours from my town to yours.

I usually always have started birds for sale. And I will have a lot more next year. So if your ever looking for some close birds let me know.

Always looking for good birds that are pretty close. Do you ever go to the sales at waterloo? I live about an hour south of St. Louis so your not terribly far from me. I would be interested in the bantam mottled cochins and blrw and maybe more.

I am only comfortable with bantam breeds here in town, and I love Cochins. You say they are SQ; have you shown them or gotten them from someone who has? Thanks.

I do go to the Waterloo Fair! Nearly every month! Last month I sold 10+ pullets and hens there. Encorepistol your probably around half an hour from me.

Also. The Cochins I currently have now I didn't say they were show quality. I don't think they are the best they could be. But I did say, and they have; Won the 4-h show a few weeks ago. So they are pretty nice.

I am getting some Blue/Black Mottled Cochins from a BYCer in a month or so. And the parents have been shown, and won quite a few shows.

I would love to show my birds. I believe I have some that could win. But I can not find any around my area. Is there anyone who could point me to some in the Southern IL or MO area?

They are from Shorr Lake Vineyard. A local guy around here.

He bought his orignal stock from a person in PA. He shows them. They are the most beautiful Light Brahmas I have ever seen.

He doesn't sell to the public. But he had a huge huge hatch. And I was able to purchase two chicks from him.

He said he might be willing to sell me a trio as well. So I can't wait. Hopefully this fall I will go pick them up.

I am currently having issues. My best young White Silkie roo is on the verge of death. He has been hanging on for a week now. And I'm syringe force feeding him. I'm really hoping he makes it. He is my favorite. And without him I won't have silkies avalible for sale until late spring or next fall.
