We have chicken breed pages, and chicken coop pages. We have predator pages and lots of other helpful pages.
I see lots of questions about the different kinds of incubators. Lets create incubator pages for the different incubators.
Post what kind of incubator you would like to make a page about so we do not have multiples.
Go to my page.
Click create new page.
Title it the name of the incubator.
Write about it.
Publish it.
Post the link here and I will add it to my page with links to all the other pages.

Rules.
You must have used this incubator several times.
You must write very helpful information. Something like what your experience has been, what others have told you, the advantages of your incubator, the disadvantages, why you like/ dislike it, who makes them, when they started making them etc. |
Also, please post very clear pictures of the incubator. Post pictures of how it works its different features etc. You might also add a note about why you chose it.
This is for the commercial incubators available. There is already lots of good information about homemade incubators. Please make sure there are no mistakes in your page, so it can be read easily. Please also make sure there is no copyrighted material in your page.
Post questions here.

I hope someone else thinks its a good idea.

Maybe someday when I have actually had success.

I am a little disappointed that there has been no responses to this thread. I was hoping to see a bunch of good info from experienced people........

I am on my 5th hatch I have built 2 bators so far I just cut up a sheet of plywood to build a smaller cabinet bator ( 2 egg turners 1 hatching tray) I have had limited success. I have been hatching coturnix and BW quail. my present hatch the bator has been much better behaved no temp spikes . I am not sure about fertility on the majority of the eggs I got them from a local guy I put some BW eggs in from my own birds they are developing nicely.

I am interested in learning how to make bigger incubator and the different types of incubators people are using.

Definitely a good idea. I will try to work on my incubator page, as I am very excited about my new Ova Easy 190 by Brinsea. I am on my first hatch with it now, but I am very familiar with how to use it. The controls are the same as the Mini Advance, which I've used to hatch 4 times with success. I will do the Mini first, and then work on the Ova Easy. I will try to get some done tonight. Good idea!
