I was thinking of using cut up toothpicks and hot glue with medical tape to attach? It's my first time with sprays.

They are also walking on top of their feet what do I do for that?

Don’t use toothpicks or hot glue, that could be very painful for the chick. Here is how I brace splay leg chicks. It only needs a bandaid and extra tape for the middle. (Could even use a strip of another bandaid if you don’t have med tape)

If you can get a picture of what you mean about them walking on their feet. They may need foot braces, which are easy to make with only med tape.
