I have been lucky enough to finally get a cabinet incubator and now i don't have a need for all of these L.G. incubators. I bought 3 of them earlier this year and they have hatched out about 3 rounds per incubator and they worked really well. They are forced air...NO TURNERS. Make me an offer on 1 or all 3.

Thanks and God Bless,
Jeff

Did you sell all of them? I am interested in them for our 4-h group. I don't want to make an offer that would offend you. Could you possibly give me some idea how much you want. Thanks Becky

Kathy how does that website work. We may be able to do something about an incubator, if it,s a legitimate request. Have you ever had any dealings with them? Do they have a legitimate screening process? Thanks, Randy and Betsy

For those of you just tuning in, a couple of people on WishUponAHero have asked for incubators or help with starting a flock. The one I brought to your attention here was asking for an incubator for her daughter. Here's the wish:

My daughter is really wanting an incubator, but we just can't afford to purchase one right now. We have a flock of chickens, including four roosters who are happily busying themselves now that it's spring. We know we're getting fertile eggs and would like to hatch some to increase the size of our flock--and because it would be fun and educational! We've raised day-old chicks before, but now that we have a big enough flock, my daughter is hoping that we can actually hatch some of the eggs from our hens! Right now, with the great weather, none of our hens want to sit on eggs, so we need an incubator.
If anyone has an incubator-even if we could just borrow it!!--we'd love to receive such a gift. My daughter would be so surprised, because we've already told her we can't afford it this year. My dad had a stroke and has moved in with us, my husband has recently finished up Chemo, an incubator is just a luxury right now that we can't afford. Thanks!!

You can read about WishUponaHero here: http://www.wishuponahero.com/aboutus/ The organization is legitimate, because several news organizations have done stories about it, but I don't know if the actual wishes are. I think you can request a verification of larger wishes, but I doubt they'd bother with something as small as an incubator.

I've been a Hero a couple of times. It doesn't take a lot of time or money to drop a card in the mail, send someone a dollar for their birthday, or do some Internet research. I was once able to find a free dental clinic for someone's brother in a matter of minutes, just by using the right search terms. She was beyond grateful, because he'd been suffering with an abscessed tooth for several weeks and had no money to get it taken care of.

Anyway, this woman's wish struck a cord in my heart, so I'm hoping someone has an incubator that they'd like to offer her. Before you do, you can also email her through the site to make sure the wish is still valid and to get more details, like a mailing address.
