Any issues with flock always being in shaded woods?

I have my coop and run in the woods and in the spring/summer the trees grow to where little sunlight gets through. There are definitely places where it comes through and they dust bathe in those spots, but it’s still limited sunlight, especially compared to fall and winter. Do you think lack of direct sunlight will have any impact on egg laying or anything else? Their feed should have their vitamin-D covered I believe.

Mine are the opposite and sun in the winter is sparse. I haven't seen any problems from it here.

They don't need direct sunlight, decent ambient light is enough to keep them laying. If you live in an area where summers get hot, having ample deep shade is a huge advantage.
