Any Landscape Designers in the house?

So I am trying to figure out how I want to add on a larger run/ fenced area to my chicken coop and I'm having a hard time. I am an interior designer so trying to design an outdoor space for me is a challenge. I want the area to look nice in my backyard and I plan on doing the work myself for the most part. Should I...

A. Fence off that whole side of the yard?
B. Make an L shape with the fence going towards the back fence and left maybe?
c. Hire someone lol

I have been looking at creating modern hog wire fence panels if that gives you an idea of the style Im going for. My house is craftsman/modern farmhouse. The chickens will only be in this area during the day and I do plan on adding some poultry netting to the top so hawks cant get to them when I'm not there.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!! Here is a picture from my coop from my bathroom window while I was checking on the girls during a storm (they could care less that it was hailing!!)

That looks like a good plan to me, using existing fence and house I assume as some of the walls of the run.

If the 'T' is for tree.....best put that outside the run so it doesn't interfere with run roof.

I do plan on adding some poultry netting to the top so hawks cant get to them when I'm not there.

Might want a solid roof for shade in your climate.
