Any musicians around?

I'm a folk musician/folk artist and joined this website recently, as about six months ago I became a chook mum for the first time. I did a little search to see if there are any dulcimer players here and found this thread. I play mountain dulcimer and sing with my husband. As a music duo we call ourselves Table Hill. Here's a recent clip from Play Music on the Porch Day. We were playing on the verandah of an old shipping container which is now my art studio.

Dulcimer, huh? Inever heard of that kind of instrument. Is it a string instrument?

I played the Toccata and Fugue in d minor by Johann Sebastian Bach on the organ, on my porch for Play Music on your Porch Day. I didn’t get a video, though.

Porch Bach organ music? Nice. :thumbsup

Yes, the mountain dulcimer is a string instrument in the zither family. It's an American folk instrument. The one I play in the video I posted above is a cross between a banjo and a dulcimer. The builder called it a dulcijo. In the picture below, I'm playing a more traditional style dulcimer and have another on the table behind me. Normally, people play mountain dulcimers while seated.

I used to play piano and recently took a digital piano. But these guys from online shop forget to put the manual into the box. So I have no instruction now.
Lol, I thought that only I had such problems with the guitar and the lack of instructions with it, I used special manuals on the internet, I saw that there were Casio AP-400 digital pianos manymanuals, it helped me with the guitar, I hope you find the model that you have. Good luck to figure it out

Very cool! I can only play the guitar, and even then at the amateur level.
