I have 2. One has extra toes, one doesn't. I used to have a black amd brown hen, but my two remaining ones are both fully black
That’s so cool! One of mine has extra fluff on top of her head. The rooster will have a yellow neck and dark red comb right? One of the hens has some yellow on her neck

I have one Mystic Onyx chick. She also has one extra toe on each foot.

She’s a cutie pie for sure! I’m trying to think of a name for her :)

I’ll post more photos as she grows!

Here are some recent photos…her name is Indigo. She’s the sweetest little darling and lets you pick her up no problem.
She mostly forages on her own, since she gets picked on a bit. A big piece of her comb was ripped off by one of the big girls when they were being integrated, but no other issues since.

My gorgeous Indi is one of my favorites in the whole flock; I’m so glad we got her!

Indi is beautiful. How old is she? What other breeds do you have and how does her disposition and temperament differ from the other breeds? Unfortunately one bird doesn't tell me how the roosters get along with each other and/or the group of MOs in general. My birds get along ok except at night and then they bicker and fight over positioning on the roost.

I'm "mixing" right now because of what I have and wanting a smaller size, ie bantam. I don't have any Mystic Onyx but the blacks and blacks with fiery reddish leakage is what I'm looking for. Had I seen the Mystic Onyx before I got overloaded and so involved, they would have been the perfect start. Right now I have a mix of Naked Neck bantams (with Silkie 'somewhere' because of the 5 toes on them), and Ayam Cemanis, along with a breeder's black Ameraucana bantam cockerel poorly bred with leakage. I don't like the Ameraucana's disposition with the ladies and chicks. Right now, I find the Cemanis have the best disposition of all of them so far, but not into the Cemanis long enough to know for sure.
