Any New Yorkers out there?

Hi, I'm on S. 13th St., a block and 1/4 south of the LIRR, east side of street.

Come by some afternoon - you'll probably see half my flock in the front yard.(My lawn crew, lol) It's a blue house with a "barn" like addition over the garage. I'd love to meet you.

I've been keeping chickens since 1972 and can probably answer any questions you might have.
sorry about all the mix ups. I know we're allowed to have chickens here in lindy. the law is so vague in wording. anything I should know.

Hi Rogers....
Welcome. I'm in East Islip. There are many great people from Long Island and else where on the Dutchess county and southern new York thread

I live in Fulton County, NY...foothills of the Adirondack Mts, and close to the great Sacandaga Lake. Will be getting my first chicks in a couple of weeks. Had to order 15 and only looking to keep about 8 or so...wondering if there's anyone nearby who would be interested in rehoming some of my babies? I am getting all females: Black Austrolorps, Columbian Wyandottes and Buff Orpingtons.

(of course, I could possibly fall in love with all 16 of them and totally change my mind! LOL!!)

just starting with 6 chicks. I'm in Lindenhurst in western suffolk. I don't think my neighbors like me enough for a rooster! Glad to see there a few other Lindy people out there.
Hi Roger, I'm in Lindenhurst as well. West Gates Ave. my rooster stays mostly in the house. He does come outside only when I'm home, this way if he crows Back inside he goes.

Hi, I' m off Wellwood Ave. and chicks are doing well. They are 14 weeks old so we have weeks to go before we get eggs. We've extended their outdoor space twice in the last 2 months! Jean
