I have had a Kindle for about a year and a half as well and love it. You can download books anytime, anywhere so I do not think that is something that you have to specifically make sure it does. Some of the other brands like Sony are okay, but they do not hold as many books. Plus, now you can play scrabble and like a text twist game on it as well. You have to download your books from Amazon though, but I use Amazon a lot so no biggie.

after hours of research and reading reviews i went with the nook.


it has a color screen and a touch screen. you can browse the web(if in wi-fi area) and it just seems like a better product. plus it was only $10 more w/free shipping. it should be here in 3 days.
