Any one crossed Std Cornish and Maran?

[/IMG]I've made two experimental crosses this spring ,Standard Dark Cornish hens,,Over BC Maran roo,, then Number two cross was Same BC Maran roo over Bantam Cornish hens ,all chicks out of both crosses are identical Black ,Has any one preceded me in this Adventure? If so how did it turn out?
