i was gven a couple of sacks of portland cement and have a couple left over from another project So since i need larger geese housing i thought i would give it a try ..
using only soil from the area and portland cement and a junk bike frame lying around and some large rocks i started the first wall
yesterday..
the soil cement is taking longer to set up than real concrete that would be hard .. but it is setting up.
the walls will be about 4 foot high 8foot long by 3 foot deep.. i will make the front out of wood ..if the rest works out.
and the top will be corrugated metal the outside area is mostly already built with a corragated metal roof and hog wire sides
and is 8 foot by ten foot.
im thinking about making them a swim trough out of soil cement if this works out.
