Any one grow seeds for their birds?

I have a list of things that I'm going to try growing for the birds next year (just in small amounts to try them out) and was wondering what other seeds other than sun flowers are easy to grow? But not only that, what seeds are as easy to harvest, store and feed as the sunflowers? (just pick, hang up to dry and through in to the birds)

We grew some millet one year. The chickens went crazy for it and harvested it themselves
