I always wanted to get a baby Berkshire gilt and raise it for a pet. Never managed to do it and I regret that. I would have named her Pansy.

I love pig noses. They don't look or feel real though.

I apologize I forgot about this thread
Are these kune kune?
These are my 2 show gilts. They can be the sweetest things ever or be absolute brats! Depends on the day 🤣

If you can’t tell they are always interested in the camera
There very cute
Oh how cute what breed are they
Another new pig! I've found that pigs are where the money is at on our little homestead. This new pig is a female American guinea hog piglet. "Hammy"View attachment 3626186
Love his picture!!

I don't have a pig, and I never did have a pig. But my daughter used to love pigs, and had a stuffed pig toy. And my son's nickname for her was pig. One day we went to the zoo, and she had her pig stuffy. When we got to a farm section everyone was feeding goats. The pig came dashing out of the barn to get food, and my daughter shouted, "Look it's a pig!" The pig stopped in it's tracks, scrunched it's shoulders closed it's eyes and make aawe face while leaning it's head to one side.

My daughter loved pigs too. I got her a Juliana for her birthday when she was pretty young. Everyone thought she was crazy for wanting one. They just didn't get it.
She did teach it some tricks and it followed her everywhere when she was outside. Geez it was so spoiled it was a pest. If I was painting something there was no doubt it would end up with paint on it. If I was trying to build something it would be right there tearing apart my work trying to be helpful.
She had named her Barbie but I affectionately extended it to Barbie Q.
My daughter is now grown and moved out and Barbie Q has passed on. We buried her in the back and I built a wishing well on her grave.
