Any other breeders who thread test sex of eggs using black thread on a needle?

I've never heard of this, I'm curious about it now! How many eggs have you sexed this way? Have you done it on hatched chicks as well?
I've been doing this for a while. You take black thread pass it through the needle make about 9 inches of length then take the knot in the ends as if you were about to sew on a button. Now hold it over an egg where you actually saw rooster got with that hen. You would try this on an egg 48 hrs. after that event. It has to do with physics. The needle will be attracted to the magnetic energy of life in the egg. If it will develop into a hen the needle will make a rapid circle spinning. If it will be a roo the needle moves like a pendulum making a straight path back and forth.

Well I didn't think about doing the chicks the test concerns the living energy in the egg. I do believe I was called a liar or witch. I am neither. But I am searching for others who do this with good results.

I forgot to say the needle points down over the egg. Not the thread.

That sounds like fun 💗 I love stuff like this. I'll have to give it a try once!

My Grandpa used to tell me if a pregnant dog eats grass a few days before giving birth they were mostly female, when the pups were born there was 1 male and 5 females!
