So i have about 150-200 common milkweed plants, and we assist with rearing Monarchs. Last year didn’t see any, son said it was their year for mass migration.
This year, a few. Thought we were on the end, out 25 eggs we found, 12 made it to butterfly. Thought we were done. Milkweed is dieing off. Then today saw three cats. Decided to collect them and found more. Grand total of 45! Hopefully they all make it. From 1st instar to 5th instar so all containers are full. Will get photos of cats tomorrow, i forgot lol
But here is what my milkweed looks like, horrible.

(In previous post, hornet is on milkweed, so yup, gross lol)

Awesome! We have a few milkweed plants scattered around the property but I'd really like to plant more when I can. And Monarch Watch has planted a few butterfly waystations in the area ☺️

Apparently Big Bob is back!
We have a ton of Little Bobs, not many Big Bobs.
I'll try to get a good picture, this was from our kitchen window, and I forgot the flash.
The Missus is at least warming up to the jumpers (but hasn't started a fan club yet).
Edit: I believe I mentioned before, right or wrong, we call all of our jumping spiders Bob. Much less confusing).
