My mother asked if I was going to breed Nardole to any of the hens next year, and while I'm not planning on it, I guess it is possible if I get a broody hen. (Assuming they all survive their first Vermont winter, predators discovering their hideouts, produce well, AND have good dispositions lol)
It got me thinking--What DO Polish crested crosses look like? Do they inherit the crest? Is it smaller and more practical? If he is crossed on a blue egg layer, what color egg layer would that produce?

Polish cross do inherit the crest. Some are large like the polish others are small like a cream legbar's.And if you crossed a polish with a blue egg layer the egg should be a light blue or a really light green. Depends on if your polish passes on the white or cream egg gene(I think..)..

Thank you, that's very helpful!
