Any place to buy chicks?

What age did you buy?I just looked and day old chicks are $3 for females and a minimum of 6 has to be ordered. 4 week olds are $23 per chick. When you buy chicks older than a few days they can get pricey.

They were six weeks old . and shipped from Texas. I still kept them in my house because it was colder here in Ohio. Yes when you want something specific ,like a new breed and older than day old it can get silly expensive. Four years ago I bought my point of lay 2 Buff Orpingtons for $20 a piece and it was August. Still have them .
