Any pullets in this bunch?

First, these pictures are bad and I'm so sorry. These are from a seller and I don't have anything better.

We've had really bad luck with my oldest's chickens: they've all been roosters. She wants her own chicken and so far no one around us is selling hens so we're doing our best to find a pullet. This person has some chicks that are supposed to be around 5-6 weeks old.

The question is, are there any possible pullets here that would make it worth driving out to get a better look at them? Again, I'm really sorry for the picture quality.

Hopefully others with more experience than me chimes in, so take my answer with a grain of salt.
But I only see one that I think is most likely a cockerel. That said, pullets can be a bit tricky to sex at this age and from these pics. I've had RIR and BR pullets that looked very similar to a few of those at that age. So I think you would be able to find at least one pullet in that bunch.

Maybe you could convince their current owner to take some closer/clearer pics of a few of them for us?

I did my best to coach the seller but she seems to be not so savvy with the camera so I'm thinking our best bet is to go out there and take a look for myself.

Hopefully its not too long a drive. But you are probably right then. If you could take more than one you might improve your odds. Or wait a few weeks and see about getting updated photos. Unfortunately I have had more than one chick surprise me at that age. That said, I think your daughter could find a nice pullet of her own there.

Sorry if it’s a little tough to tell with the photos, but these are my best guesses. Blue: cockerel, purple: unsure, red: likely pullet. It’s a little young, and the cockerels stand out, but some of the pullet-ish chicks may be late developing cockerels.

Things to watch when you want to pick out a pullet.

Small, pale combs and wattles. Ideally the combs should be flat to the head and either white with a pinkish tinge, or yellow. There should ideally be no wattle development.

Thinner legs rather than thick legs.

An even color pattern, with no irregular deeper colored patches, especially at the shoulders.

Go for older birds that show these signs.

Honestly I see a bit of red in some of them which points to cockerel.

Okay so! We went out yesterday to look at the chicks. We bought two that are 8 weeks old. The lady said that if they're cockerels, we can bring them back and she's going to do her best to find us a pullet.

But here's the two we have currently, any ideas if these are pullets or cockerels?
