Any reason I shouldn't use these as nest boxes?

We were given these stacking totes, any reason I shouldn't use these as nest boxes? I have four of them. They also mount on the wall.
The lip is about 6-7 inches high.

I would stack two then another two next to them. Add a piece of wood to cover the top. I say this as I don't know the drop from the top one if all were stacked. The lip looks slippery. maybe add some artificial grass to the lip for them to grab onto. Great to get given items for the girls.
 
I can't think of any reason to not use them. If you look through these threads you'll see things stranger than that people have used.

The outside dimensions are 31.5" x 17". If you want to you could put a divider in there but I doubt it is necessary. The 7" lip would help stop them scratching bedding, fake eggs, and real eggs out. If you are worried about them being able to fly up and land on that plastic (I would not worry about that) you can always put a perch in front of them.
