I can get a deal on two 3'x100" rolls of 1/4 inch hardware cloth. Total $100 for both. Obviously the price is right. I see most people use 1/2 inch. I am assuming given the price I should jump on the 1/4 inch and use it for my run? What would you guys do?

I ended up getting it. There is a local Ace hardware store that is going out of business and everything is at least 50% off. They have quite a few roles of welded wire fence too, I might go back for some of that. I am planning my first garden this spring too.

I went back yesterday and bought a sack full of hinges, latches, clasps, etc. I don't have a detailed drawing of what I am going to build but I know I will be needing that type of stuff. I also bought several large screw in hooks for hanging stuff.

3 feet x 100 feet?

Go back and get that fencing too!...and a bunch of screws and washers to install your HC.

I think these are the rolls I got. They sold them for $50.00 each.

I went back the next day and they were all out of screws. As you can imagine the shells are being picked bare. Many times when a store goes out of business they advertise clearance prices but once you get in the store the good stuff is not marked down. I drove by the store everyday for a week and did not stop, I wish I would have went in sooner. Everything was 50% off. I checked out their lumber but most of it was still going to be about the same price as Lowes or Menards, Ace was high on their lumber prices.
