Any recommendations for a good poultry magazine?

I also like Backyard Chickens Magazine!! Now, about a month after the subscription arrives, I start to wishing another would come (comes every 2 months) so I ordered Countryside magazine and it comes on the off month from BCM. It too is a great magazine. You can get free issues of both magazines and is worth a look.

some that I subscribe to are www.poultrypress.com
Small Farms Canada (haven't received this one yet, but looks promising) and of course Backyard poultry I really like the online articles from Mother earth news

I love Mother Earth News. I keep every one of mine and read them over and over. They also have archival CD-ROM sets you can buy.

Agree about backyard poultry and mother earth news and also get hobby farms. Don't know what the problem is with hobby farms, I have gotten some useful information from it and find some very enjoyable reading there and I am in no means a "city boy". The largest community I have ever lived around is where I currently am with about 125 people within a 5 mile radius. But I guess I do have a menagerie of farm animals. I currently have chickens, guineas, cattle, goats, hogs, and honeybees. I find the variety very enjoyable and tasty.

Check out the different magazines on their websites. That way you won't spend a ton of money buying ones that don't fit what you want.
