Have your mom or dad read the post and ask them if they would allow you to accept the offer. If that was the way my kids had ask I would have been more willing to read up and try to understand what was going on. I know that I would be willing to say yes to such a kind and generous offer. I am happy though that you are willing to follow your parents rules.

If you want to ask your parents if I could ship fabric to you care of your church or school, I could do that. You would only have to arrange it with someone to receive the package and pass it on to you. If they are open to something like that, PM or email me.

Also, I am not alone in having a stash of fabric for projects that never got done. I think this is a common malady. Maybe if you put a notice up on your church bulletin board you would be able to find someone like me that would be delighted to give you some fabric!

OR - do you have a seamstress in your town that would give you fabric scraps? You could use scraps for quilting projects.

cross stitching is a fun hobby. I have been x-stitching for a few years and the counted cross stitch patterns are very satisfying. kits come complete with threads and special fabric to do the pattern on, or you can find amazing stores to pick your own materials for a special picture you've found.
