Any Silkie experts /breeders out there? 16 weeks old.. Roo or Pullet? I especially need help with Blanche and Maddy. Quite sure Jorday is a pullet.

The comb pics and side pics would definitely help but I feel fairly confident sexing a few of them.

Blanche looks like a little cockerel based on what I'm pretty sure are streamers coming from the back of the crest. Mama and Jordan both look like pullets. I'm unsure about Maddy but the comb and side pictures should help with that (with a special emphasis on getting a good side shot of the crest so streamers can be seen if present). I'm leaning more towards cockerel with Maddy from what I can see though.

I should have guessed about Mama! No wonder she looked so much more mature than the others!

Sometimes multiple boys get along, I hope yours do if they are both boys!

I hope they get along also. So far, so good.. One rooster (Blanche ) seems to be higher in the hierarchy and sleeps on the roost with Mama Penny. The other two sleep on the sand floor next to them . LOL.
