Any success stories of keeping a Roo in a residential area?

I got a letter of reasonable accommodation to keep my Arlo. He lived with me in my apartment. He only crowed if he was really excited or ticked off at me He wasn't any louder than the neighbor's husky dog whose bark could rattle the windows. I had to sit down with the owner's agent & explain the situation. Arlo was an accepted pet & known by everybody.
