any suggestions for coop on concrete with sand?

Hi! We have decided to build a large run on our rv pad, since we never have and never will have an rv. Our coop will sit independently inside of the run. We will be using sand. Any suggestions before we begin construction? Thanks!

Do a thick layer of sand for the softness on their feet, buy a big rake to clean it, and make sure the run is secure enough (hardware cloth or welded wire not chicken wire) and heavy enough (wood not pvc) that nothing can lift it or get in. Finally, enjoy your great use of an eye sore.

You'll need to put boards on edge around the sides to hold the sand from washing away...some will still probably get scratched out.
