Any Tanners?

Hey folks, a quick question to see if anyone here enjoys tanning furs or hides! We have done it for a few years and would love to talk shop, share tips, ask some questions. We enjoy particularly tanning deer hides from processors that will be tossed normally and repurposing them giving them a new life.

only tanned two furs so far. a mink and a weasel

mink was my first animal i trapped in my trapping career. and the weasel was the second animal i caught.

have a few red squirrel pelts am debating on tanning as well.

thanks, i use a hide and fur tanning solution, its the one in the orange bottle.

@itsasmallfarm - Yes I know exactly which one you are talking about! I’ve used it on raccoon but not deer yet
