I was going to refrain from posting here, as I no longer have terriers
But with all of the Rattie pictures I just can't resist....here are the dogs that helped raise me:
A not very good picture of Sue (I'll have to try to find a better one later) Got her when I was about 2 years old, and she died when I was 18, it's been 4 years, but I still miss her like crazy.
And her "husband" as I always said when I was younger, Jack...got him about a year after Sue, and he also lived to 16. My dad, who is not a dog person, still calls him the greatest dog ever. This is one of the last pictures of the Jackster, still as handsome as ever...
Trying to teach our now 6 year old (then about 9 months old) dog to stay at home...he never caught on, despite having an excellent mentor, oh and that blanket, Jack ALWAYS dragged his bed out into the sun, no matter how much bigger than him it was.
I must admit, teared up a little thinking about them...I will have another someday...probably more than one others.
