Any Terriers? Show them off!!

I was going to refrain from posting here, as I no longer have terriers

But with all of the Rattie pictures I just can't resist....here are the dogs that helped raise me:

A not very good picture of Sue (I'll have to try to find a better one later) Got her when I was about 2 years old, and she died when I was 18, it's been 4 years, but I still miss her like crazy.

And her "husband" as I always said when I was younger, Jack...got him about a year after Sue, and he also lived to 16. My dad, who is not a dog person, still calls him the greatest dog ever. This is one of the last pictures of the Jackster, still as handsome as ever...

Trying to teach our now 6 year old (then about 9 months old) dog to stay at home...he never caught on, despite having an excellent mentor, oh and that blanket, Jack ALWAYS dragged his bed out into the sun, no matter how much bigger than him it was.

I must admit, teared up a little thinking about them...I will have another someday...probably more than one others.

Chickenfanatic, I'm glad you did post. My granddaughter was raised with my first Rt. We used to call her the babies dream catcher because she would cuddle up to her during naps and no one dared wake my grand daughter up. My grand daughter is a teen now and we lost our old gal last month.
Rt's do love their blankets! All of mine sleep underneath their blankets.

This is Woody. He is a Cesky ("Chess Key") Terrier. They are a little rare in the US, but more common in Europe. He is a great Farm Dog. Does like to chase chickens, but they hold their own with him.

This is Tucker, a rescued one of a kind Jack Russell Terrier! He is one of the few sane Jacks out there!

He loves to pose!

I have a female smooth coat JRT right now that I want to eventually breed to either a broken or rough coat.

This is Abby our new JRT. She's the first JRT we've had w/long legs. We've always had shorties until her.
