My chicks are 6-7 weeks old (the first two are a week older) and I am stumped on their gender, any thoughts? They are bantam cochins, mille fleur (project) pattern. I posted two pictures of each.... Thank you!!!

I am watching the answers to this one closely, as I am thinking my 6 little ones being only 1 month old now = 3 pairs.

One is trying to crow already but I am not sure which!
I have to get pics up after the weekend.
3 have combs which are turning darker pink and are on the larger birds..... 3 are staying yellow on the smaller ones.
They are also acting accordingly.

Lots of posturing going on.

I am going to try to attempt to keep a trio for myself to raise.

With my experience with Bantam Cochins, which is limited, I say you have 4 pullets. Cochin roos develop wattles early in my experience and none of these have large wattles. I do not see any hackle feathers on either of them, but we are looking at photos so that could be misleading. Still I say 4 pullets. Beautiful by the way - keep working on better more standard coloration.

I have to admit though, I've never been this stumped (and it looks like with varied opinions that I am not alone

At the same age, my blue mottled cochins and white cochins were pretty easy to sex, so maybe its something with the color genetics or something.

We need a another "leaning towards one way" opinion, I think I have equal votes for both male and female for each LOL
